How much will my stairlift cost?

The cost of your stairlift will very much depend on the situation where it will be installed. As you would expect a stairlift for a staircase that has several bends and corners will cost more that one for a simple straight staircase.

As a very rough guide, stairlifts for straight staircases start at around £1,650.

Will I need to redecorate once my stairlift is installed?

Your new stairlift will be fitted to your staircase, not your wall so in most cases the answer will be no.

In some instances you may need to have a handrail moved or a window sill reduced in order to avoid clashes with you new stairlift, in which case some minor redecoration may be needed after the lift is installed.

How long does it take to install a stairlift?

This will depend on the complexity of your stairlift but will usually be between two to four hours.

What happens if there is a power cut?

Your stairlift is operated by batteries which recharge when your Stairlift is left on a charge point. This means your stairlift will continue to work even if the power supply is interrupted.

What happens if I leave my stairlift off charge?

Audible and visual signals will alert you that your lift is not on a charge point.

What if I want to have a new carpet?

Your stairlift can be removed and refitted to allow for the laying of new carpets.

How long will I have to wait for my stairlift?

This will depend on which lift you order. We understand the difference a stairlift can make to your quality of life which is why we offer the shortest market lead times possible.

Which stairlift is right for me and my staircase?
